Of Mice and Men essay for English class? | Free Essay Docs
Okay, so I am supposed to be writing an essay for my English class on the book Of Mice and Men. In this essay I am supposed to be answering the questions “What is the ultimate message of this story and what difference does a story like this make in the lives of those who read it?” I am also supposed to talk about the symbols (such as water, mice, rabbits, dreams, etc.), characters, settings, literary devices, and how the title of the story relates to a poem written by Robert Burns. I am not asking for anyone to write the essay for me, I am just asking how I should write it and where I should start. Help would be much appreciated.

Using spark notes is great for symbols. Spark notes also has a short paragraph on the characters, and will tell you the setting. You could also try googleing your question and you will get tons of info. I had to do a very similar thing last year for honors english, and I hated every minutes of it (I could not get pass the killing of dogs) so have fun!
